Over the next four days, the Ponoka Culture and Recreation complex (right across from the Stampede grounds) is going to be full of western-themed arts and crafts, and a whole lot more.

And by a whole lot more, there is, with live music in addition to the vendors on site, all free.

On the entertainment side, June 28 features Kym Simon from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. and June 29 features Martina Dawn from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

On June 30, folks can enjoy Hayley Isabel from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. and then Julia Vos closes out the trade show experience, also with two performances: 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Returning with her unique Kanvas Shows is Michele Greer, featuring one-of-a-kind art on jackets, canvas shoes, and more, according to a release.

This western trade show is going to be bigger and better - almost 200 vendors are descending on the arena to inspire and wow attendees.

Along with the many artists and tradespeople, Ponoka Stampede’s poster competition winners from many area schools will also be on display.

Students from Grade 1 all the way to Grade 12 entered their amazing artwork celebrating Canada’s largest seven-day professional rodeo. A total of 32 winners were picked.

Embracing all aspects of the western Canadian experience, the Ponoka Stampede Wild West Tradeshow truly has something for everyone and that includes western-themed giftware, art, jewelry, woodwork, home decor, and more!

Admission is free, and the hours are June 28 (1 to 6 p.m.), June 29 to July 1 (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
